Welcome to the website of Fresh Trade Belgium.
Fresh Trade Belgium is the federation representing the importers, exporters and wholesalers of fruits and vegetables in Belgium.
Fresh Trade Belgium was created in November 2006 after the merger of the federations Nubelt (exporters) and Nufeg (importers and wholesalers).
During the General Assembly on the 8th of May 2008 Mr.Frank Van Colenberghe has been reelected as president of the federation for the years 2008-2010.
Fresh Trade Belgium is member of UNIZO and UCM, organisations for SME. The federation is also member of Fedis (Commission Food Politics, Commission Environment and Sustainability) and Freshfel (sections Import and Export). On behalf of the exporters of fruits and vegetables Fresh Trade Belgium also has a mandate in the working group fruits and vegetables of Vlam where she participates in the promotion politics for foreign markets. Finally, Fresh Trade Belgium is affiliated to PTMV (Platform of Concertation for Processors and Traders of Primary Vegetal ressources) which, by means of the GIQF standard, offers a guarantee of quality and food safety for the Belgian vegetal sector.
